Administrator
Shelia Gates, Administrator, has worked in healthcare for over 30 years. Shebegan her career at Eagle Mountain Assisted Living as the Food ServiceDirector in February of 2006 just prior to its opening. After obtaining herAdministrator license and working closely with the former Administrator, shebegan her present position in May of 2013. Shelia loves working with seniorsand is committed to meeting the needs and expectations of the residents andtheir family members.

Danny Gates
Maintenance Director
Danny came to work as the Maintenance Director in 2020. He came with many years of experience in carpentry, painting, and various other skills used in construction. Danny has a very positive, friendly attitude and is always eager to help our residents and staff with anything that's needed. He is married to his wife Stacie, that is also a CNA for the community. They have 7 children and love spending their time with family.

Paula Joyner
Residential Service Director BSN
Paula Joyner, RN, has a 15-year career in nursing and came to EMAL in 2020. She has experience in hospice care and worked as a travel nurse for several years. What Paula enjoys most about her work is giving personalized care and hearing the stories our seniors share. In her spare time Paula enjoys shopping and traveling, especially going on cruises.
Kayla Dabbs
Food Service Director
Kayla worked for Eagle Mountain Assisted Living from 2007-2012. She left and acquired her CDM. She came back to work for us in 2021 as a cook and stepped into the Food Service Director position in January 2022. Kayla has experience in this department from her previous job. She has a wonderful, positive attitude and prepares delicious meals for the residents. In her time away from work she pastors a church, teaches at a rehab for women with addictions, and does community outreach. She is married and has two sons.

LaWanda Donahue
RA Supervisor/ CNA
Lawanda began working for E.M.A.L. in April of 2008, as a C.N.A. She took the position as R.A. Supervisor in March of 2017. She loves interacting with the staff and residents on a daily basis. In her time away from work she enjoys TOPS, a weight loss support group. She also loves spending time with her family and pets.

Kellie Hynes, Administrative Assistant, began her employment with Eagle Mountain Assisted Living on August 2024. She has a passion for people and has quickly come to love the residents we serve. With over 20 years of experience in administration she is excited to embrace her new role and look forward to contributing to the great work being done here

Karen Reynolds Weaver
Director of Program Services
Karen Reynolds Weaver, Director of Program Services, was born and reared inBatesville. Karen brings to Eagle Mountain Assisted Living experience gainedfrom many years of church and community involvement. Karen's enthusiasm andcreative energy complements her role as "Activity Director". She loves thevariety of tasks that her job brings. Both inside and outside work, sheenjoys entertaining and decorating as well as traveling and spending timewith her family.
